President | Broker
As President of Pelican Realty Management, Desiree leads the management, investment and operating divisions. She is responsible for the strategic planning and growth of the company and maintains oversight over all aspects of Pelican Realty Management, working closely with business leaders across the platform.
Desiree believes that the company’s commitment to a strong business strategy allows PRM to mitigate cyclically and plays an integral part in implementing executional standards and growth initiatives across the platform. Desiree currently oversees over $500MM in multi-family assets. She offers a profound leadership ability and offers the highest degree of asset and property management aptitudes.
She is also the Executive Vice President of PRM’s sister company Univest-Inc. where she is directly responsible for all residential real estate operations including, acquisition, finance and management activities of the company’s multifamily business portfolio. Under her direction, the company continues to consistently deliver good risk-adjusted returns for its institutional investors.

Sharo Khastoo has over 30 years of in-depth experience in multi-million-dollar acquisitions, management, and disposition of multi-family assets. He has led the re-development of apartment communities throughout in markets across California, Arizona, State of Washington, and Texas.
Studying and analyzing emerging real estate trends, keeping abreast of management and economic realities, and evaluating ways to maximize return for all clients/owners is the platform by which he governs his business.
Sharo’s educational background includes a Master Degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona.
Sharo is a recipient of the prestigious designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM®) from the institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). He is also a licensed Real Estate Broker and a licensed General Contractor in the State of California.
Eva Jimenez-Sianez has been with PRM for over 20 years with accounting experience, overseeing all financial, accounting, reporting, and policy/procedure compliance.
Eva guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. She protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls and monitors financial condition by conducting audits; provides information to external auditors and works closely with CPAs.
Eva has been successful in implementing the web-based Voyager system for more accurate, real-time reporting and continues to seek the latest technology to integrate increased operational efficiencies throughout the company.
Shifting gears to her personal life, Eva is a proud mother and grandmother and enjoys traveling.
Sandy Ly is the Financial Controller here at PRM. She has been with the company for over 7 years She also handles Payroll and the HR department. Sandy graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. Sandy is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Vietnamese.
The positive work environment and awesome coworkers are two things Sandy loves most about PRM. She appreciates that she’s always encouraged to grow and is challenged to think outside the box.
Sandy’s values include accountability, equality, honesty, integrity, respect, and hard work. Her hobbies include snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, outdoor adventures, and travel.
Director of Operations
Nancy Nguyen has been with PRM for over five years and started in the Accounting Department. She has now transitioned over to Programs Manager where she oversees all PRM’s internal and external operations.
She’s currently working toward obtaining her real estate license to further her ability to assist potential clients and partners. She is also a licensed Notary Public.
Nancy is fluent in English and Korean. Outside the office, she enjoys spontaneous adventures and traveling.
Ana Judge joined Pelican in 2017 and has since contributed to various departments of the company to achieve successful outcomes helping with the implementation of projects. Ana holds a bachelor’s degree in Management of Public Policies from the University of Sao Paulo, where she gained a deep understanding of planning, evaluation, and implementation of governmental projects. In addition to her
academic achievements, Ana has also earned a certificate in general business with concentration in international trade and commerce from UCLA, as well as a certificate in Project Management from UCI.
Ana is a recipient of the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) License from the Project Management Institute (PMI) which demonstrates her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of excellence in project management.
Ana is originally from Brazil, and is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish. An avid planner, in her personal time she enjoys planning adventures and weekends with her family and friends, traveling, and cooking.
Lead Staff Accountant
Daisy Estrada graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a BA in Finance. At Cal State Fullerton, she was an active member of the Real Estate Association for the Centers for Real Estate. As a member, she gained an interest in realty management, which lead to her decision to join Pelican Realty Management in March 2021 and further pursue a career in realty management and accounting.
As a Jr. Staff Accountant, she applies her knowledge in Finance and Accounting to perform various tasks including journal entries, processing invoices and purchase orders, and assessing financial transactions for properties located in Arizona. Daisy is excited to be part of a growing team of hardworking staff who also encourage her values of dependability, responsibility, adaptability, and strong work ethic.
Currently, she strives to progress as an accountant. Her long-term goal is to secure a real estate license and further apply those skills with Pelican Realty Management.
After a hard day’s work, Daisy enjoys creating new food recipes and going on long hike adventures.
Jr. Staff Accountant
Precious is one of the newest additions to the PRM family. Before joining in early July 2021, she spent the previous 5 years devoting her time developing exceptional leadership, organizational, and analytical and problem-solving skills in retail management. As the newly promoted Jr. Staff Accountant for our Arizona properties, she ensures all expenses, financial reports, and all transactions pertaining to are being processed and documented accordingly in a timely manner.
Precious also assists our senior accounting department with the administering of all transactions for the company’s Quickbooks accounts. She has already made such a positive impact in the accounting department and works closely with her colleagues to achieve effectiveness in the company’s performance.
Precious loves to travel and enjoys all adventures big or small. She has loved her experience with PRM so far and is excited to see what the future brings.
Tonya is PRM’s Operations Analyst who is actively involved in all new software technology PRM rolls out and plays an integral part in the implementation to secure a smooth and seamless integration. She continuously monitors these diverse software systems to ensure proper functionality.
She is directly involved in providing hands on training to new and existing employees across all departments and disciplines on accounting, software programs and business processes. Tonya is responsible for staying up to date on new software and technology in the industry and reports directly to the IT and HR representatives regularly.
Tonya is also responsible for responding to inbound staff inquiries via telephone, web and email communications. She helps guide PRM’s staff through software processes; providing administrative support, resolving staff and employee problems through research and troubleshooting.
Regional Project Manager
Shawn manages and supports the development and implementation of strategies, programs, and initiatives that drive operational excellence and standardization by creating and defining processes, procedures, tools, policies, communication, and metrics, and managing compliance with the Company’s operating policies and procedures.
He has a General Contractor’s license in CA and in AZ and comes with a
wealth of knowledge and experience in construction, large renovation projects, and overseeing all capital improvements projects for multi-family assets to ensure liability is prevented and execute all projects from start to finish.
Coordinates work activities and acts as the key point of contact with various departments and team members, vendors, consultants, and others as needed to lead project meetings, promote open communication, keep business leaders informed of progress, and follow up as required to ensure assigned tasks are completed.
Senior Asset Project Director
Leo comes with many years of skilled experience pertaining to asset project management. He is responsible for research and development of all new capital improvement projects as it relates to new deal concepts, building systems, materials, product selection, costs and building codes. He prepares conceptual budgets for the Development Team to assist with the due diligence process and distributes bid packages, reviews and evaluates bids and proposals from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors, develops, negotiates, and approves contracts for selected contractors, sub-contractors, and other service providers needed to complete the project work.
Leo also conducts project site inspections to ensure all plans, specifications and subcontractor scopes of work are being adhered to, resolves issues and problems, and recommends, approves, and implements modifications to the project plans, as needed. He communicates with key business leaders to provide updates on the status of projects, provide feedback and address concerns, and plan specific actions as needed to ensure the on-time and on budget completion of the projects.
Michelle graduated from California State University of Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. She has always had the mindset of wanting to help others as much as she can, which is why she has always pursued a career pertaining to the medical field. As she got older, she learned that to be able to help people does not necessarily mean you need to be in the medical field. She discovered that helping others can be in many other career choices. She came into PRM with an open mind and now she could not be any happier.
Michelle is fluent in Chinese and English; she also learned Japanese for 4 years in high school. She enjoys the occasional baking/cooking on her time off. Michelle loves to learn new recipes for her family to try. Her favorite thing to make for her family are her brownie cookies that she recently learned how to make. On her free time, she also enjoys hiking, playing video games, detailing cars, and going on a food adventure.
Michelle very excited to be a part of the PRM family and cannot wait to see what the future has in store for her.
Sarah is a skilled and meticulous professional that is new to the field of accounting. She demonstrates a strong commitment to achieving organizational goals, attention to detail, accuracy and compliance, with the ability to adapt quickly to dynamic environments. She assists the accounting department daily with payables, processing invoices, reconciliations, collaborates with the Controller on all regulatory requirements, assists with Month-End closing and financial reporting activities and participates in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required. Sarah is committed to delivering exceptional results, driving innovation, and contributing to the overall success of the team.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys strategy board games, cooking, and trivia which further enriches her creativity and problem-solving abilities. Her strong work ethic, combined with her passion for accounting, drives her continuous pursuit of excellence in all endeavors.
Vyann is an enthusiastic professional who has recently joined the company and is new to the field of property management. Having worked in various industries before joining, she is eager to leverage her analytical skills, eye for detail, and passion to learn. Her experience has honed her ability to adapt quickly, think critically, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
As the Operations Administrator at Pelican, Vyann’s proactive approach, strong work ethic, and dedication to excellence, she is committed to making an impact to the overall success of the company.
